If someone is in need of an offensive D/PP guy and offers a minute eating 2nd pairing guy to pair with Keith I’d be all for moving Barrie. I do think it’s a bit early to really be looking into this though.

We have Ceci for that role.

Literally the first sentence in the article says in the next few seasons. Not 5 games in necessarily.

Sure, but he agreed with my points overall. Barrie will be redundant with the emergence of Bouchard.

Edit: I would like to make myself clearer, though. I don't think any trade should be rushed 5 games in. There is no panic here. Oilers are 5-0 so a trade could be made nearer the trade dealine or some such.
