It’s tough to gauge if he ends up as a 2C or 3C, he’s kind of in the middle. Has skill but not sure he is skilled enough to carry a line. I would say he has played well along side talented players but his offense disappears along side less skilled players. Right situation he could be a 2C. I don’t think Ottawa is the right situation for him, this season he’s been stuck at wing. I think eventually he becomes a trade chip, especially if Ostapchuk solidifies his position on the big club.

I would keep both for a while as I think it is important to build a solid bottom-6. They are young and shouldn't become very expensive. They are also the last 2 forward graduates and might be for a while...

Both are defensive specialists but Greig has more offensive skill and should be a fixture on the 3rd line. Ostapchuk would be on the 4th line

Tkachuk - Norris - Batherson
?????? - Stutzle - ??????
Greig - Pinto - ??????
Reinhardt - Ostapchuk - ??????

Neither team does it because NHL GMs are too scared to do a trade like this inside their division. If their guy hits his potential on a new team it reflects poorly on them

Seems to me, Pinto should be the guy the Sabres target if making a move like this. Even that though I think Sabres need to target veteran guys.

I don't think the Sens need to make a move like this. Greig is an identity player who has shown flashes of being a gritty top 9 player with hands. Those do not grow on trees.

While I like Quinn, I think he has more bust potential and I'm not sure he plays the two-way game we're looking for.

The teams themselves are bad trading partners, though. Both looking to take the next step, not looking to downgrade.
