I love it but then he'd block ondrej Pavel who I think will be a very good 4c if he can ever stay healthy. Can't have Czechs blocking other czechs for those 4th line roles.lol

Would love it if that can happen. Pavel was making all kind of buzz at last year's camp but keeps getting injured.

It is pissing me off! He sounds like a fabulous 4th line glue guy... But he can't stay healthy.

Watching the sens games I thought both looked pretty good, Genuinely surprised by Jenik, he looked to be a very good fit for their 4th line. Not sure if he PKs or anything. Gaudette played like Gaudette does, scored goals and looked very strong against the weaker rosters, and some stronger ones but clearly needs to be in a top 6 to really succeed.

He is signed, he just got waived. Wasn't a PTO, he was traded for Sokolov.

You never know with so many players on waivers but there seem to be a few teams out there looking for 4th line options or even 4C's. Jenik isn't just your average 4C option but is also still relatively young and has some actual upside. Played a strong preseason as well. Like I said...you never know but I'd be mildly surprised if he goes unclaimed. However, if there was an opportunity to sneak him through waivers then Ottawa probably picked the right day to do it.

He had a good camp, if injury, he's probably the 1st call-up.

Ottawa doesn’t have a lot of offensive depth up front.

He will very likely play games this season. He was probably the 13th best forward in camp. They just snuck him through waivers. I think the team is going to give Gaudette, Jenik and Ostapchuk all a chance at 4th line c. Gaudette was the best of the 3 so he's getting first crack.
