I don't think the rival thing will change. It shifted when the team to the Central. If we're talking division Colorado should be but a lot of Utah hockey fans grew up as Avs fans.

For a certain generation, the Bulls - because of how they shoved a dagger into Karl Malone's and John Stockton's hearts. But I don't know who the most recent rival is.

Avalanche make a ton of sense. It has felt like them and the Yotes were starting to get pretty chippy against each other to begin with. Now they are the most similar regional rivals.
