OT: Other sports thread: Your World Series Champion Doyers!, Angels, Rams, Lakers, Bruins, Trojans, Capybaras and World Champion Galaxy!

I drove through that area awhile back and I was a bit jelous of the parking situation at The Honda Center. Looks an awful lot easier parking and getting to the building than it does at Crypto.

The whole area around THC and Angel Stadium just feels more open and less dense. I kind of like that. Seems less stressful.

They are developing this property now so no need to be jealous anymore!

That said, getting an Uber out of there is very easy via walking across the street to the Transit Center or whatever building. Little bit of a mess around there right now with the development though, like you said.

Since this the other sports thread, just a reminder to everyone that I am a Carolina Panthers fan. Please be nice to me.

Halfback U not exactly a hotbed of QB talent.. I guess Palmer actually had a career mostly as a starter. Everyone else like Haden didnt last. Who am I forgetting? Re Williams my gut says he is a bust... hope to be wrong.
Sam Darnold is actually having a pretty good season so far.

Him and Sanchez were USC products that both went to the Jets. Talk about having the odds stacked against you.

Dodgers have to get this win tonight, get ohtani 2 more dingers and get this milestone out of the way then shut er the f*** down until October. Team is beat up physically and mentally.

Edit: 1 more lol Jesus that dude can rake.

Edit 2: best thing that could've happened. Time to focus on October and not individual records. Shut er down please!

Congrats Shohei, he's an all timer there's no doubt. Ridiculous game. But all for nothing if they get bounced in the first series they play in. Need pitching help.

Posted this on the main board but just still scratching my head as to what just happened.

Since RBI became official in 1920, only one MLB player has had, course of his entire career (same game or not),

a game with 10+RBI
a game with 6+ hits
a game with 5+ XBH
a game with 3+HR
a game with 2+ SB

That one player is Shohei Ohtani. He did all of this in one game, yesterday.

No one's had all of these stats in their career Shohei did it in one afternoon. LMAO.

Like everyone else, I'm worried about the pitching but, thanks to Ohtani, there's some good vibes in that dugout lately. The team will get a good measuring stick with the pads this week. Now they can keep those bats hot for another 3 or 4 weeks they might have a shot at winning some games.

Starting pitchers only going four or five innings is going to kill the bullpen.

Dodgers are going to have to win a lot of slow pitch softball type games if the starters don't improve.
