Indeed

Another reason why Doyers fans aren't fans of Dave
Especially if the guy knew he was sick. If the pitcher is sick and you see he doesn’t have his stuff, you pull him at the first sign of real trouble. Easy to say he made a good move saving the bullpen but if he knew he was going in, it was a terrible move to wait and see.

Going to be a crazy world series. Bullpen has to be huge again against the Yankees. Yanks have the edge in Starters but Top to bottom Doyers have a better lineup. We will see.

the system lincoln riley runs(air raid variant) has never won anything and will never win anything.
i hate to see miller moss consistently being knocked senseless.
USC can't run the football when the other team knows they need to run the ball. Good teams don't have that problem.

Fun fact: In 1963 the Dodgers swept the Yankees behind the arms of Koufax, Podres, and Drysdale. This was the only time either team has swept the World Series from the other.

Ron Peranowski was the only reliever who appeared in the series for the Dodgers to pitch the final 2/3 of the 9th inning of Game 2 to earn the save for Podres.

Koufax pitched two complete games (1 and 4), and struck out 23 batters over his 18 innings of work. Koufax outdueled Whitey Ford in each of his two victories.

Drysdale pitched a 3-hit shutout in Game 3 with 9 strikeouts.
