Fires of Mt Doom
Glad for the win but that was a frustrating game. Friend who hasn’t followed basketball since the Grizzlies left came over after the first quarter. Just my luck that instead of showcasing the amazing team, I got to show off a complete inability to make free throws. So much for my attempt to convert them

Ray Lewis should be in prison
He should have gone to prison for obstruction, but he'd be out by now anyway.

The two guys who actually did the stabbing in that incident were acquitted for self-defense. Apparently the guys that got stabbed turned a verbal argument physical by breaking a glass bottle on someone's head. Then they got stabbed.

Doesn't excuse Lewis helping those guys destroy evidence but it's been decades. He'd be out of jail by now either way.

I love Lamar but I kind of don’t want both the Harbaughs winning at the same time, so rooting for the Chiefs and big Red

So much holding on those last 2 plays and Baltimore gets called. What's the point in trying to get to mahomes when his O-Line is allowed to do whatever they want? Why is it always like this???

I also hate athletes having fun....
It's stupid and selfish.

Often times when the defense celebrates you see guys run 45 yards at a dead sprint just to get their faces in front of the camera, then later those same guys are asking to be subbed out on 3rd and 8.

Seeing her hug the 'friend' that she's clearly paying to hang out with her this week makes me laugh - every single time

I sure would hate celebrating a score with my friends and/or teammates.

Wasting time and energy mugging for the camera is childish and selfish.

The whole Kelce thing is such a PR move by the drama queen and is obnoxious as F.

Can't have fun and play to win?
I'm talking about these idiots that have the entire defense sprint 45 yards to get in front of the endzone camera after an interception. Or the people who have a 10 person dance that they all clearly had to spend time and energy putting together.

I have no problem with a spur of the moment celebration out of emotion.

It's these artificial, choreographed, selfish displays of idiocy that annoy me. It shows that the player(s) in question put significant time and effort into thinking about crap that has no impact on winning.

Sports is entertainment. Full stop.

The NFL once put some severe restrictions on endzone celebrations and then, for once, came to their senses, at least somewhat. Now they actually have multi-focus cameras at each endzone for the expressed purpose of capturing those celebrations for the audience.

I've no problem whatsoever with elaborate celebrations in any sport.

If it's Chiefs and Niners I don't think I'll bother watching. NFL just losing me as a follower.
