Other Sports: Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies etc…Part VII

Typical Monfort mentality. Go out and get a washed-up star to try and put butts in the seats and pretend the franchise is relevant.
He barely even qualified as a star. He only drove in more than 77 runs in a season twice, and those were his first two years. After that he was a 50-77 RBI guy when healthy, and he was rarely healthy.

Bryant has now played 162 games as a member of the Rockies. The equivalent of one season. His numbers in that time?

.245 average, 17 home runs, and 60 RBI.

Here’s how I did in the HF mock draft

Nix needs weapons and it got three for him.
1/20 - Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
2/51 - Harold Fannin Jr, TE, BGSU
3/85 - Jack Bech, WR, TCU
4/122- Billy Bowman Jr, S, Oklahoma

I HIGHLY doubt Jeanty drops to #20 IRLand for the Broncos the only player I would pick over him is Travis Hunter. Had he been gone at #20 my pick would have been Omarion. The Broncos really need an RB in the first two rounds.

I got my favorite of the second tier of TEs in the 2nd and my favorite receiver of the second tier with Bech.

Fannin looks like that Joker Payton has been pining for.

Judging by his Saints teams, Payton looks like a total size queen on receivers. Bech is 6’2” and plays even bigger. Sure handed guy who fights tooth and nail for the ball should be good as at least a safety valve for a young QB.

Bowman is undersized and a bad tackler for a safety, but I think he can be a good nickel with his smarts, speed and ball hawking.

Omarion Hampton looks like such a beast on his tape, but TreVeyon Henderson has that game breaking speed. I don't know who to take...
