This was the kind of game that makes clear we can't be playing guys like Zeke in the playoffs.

Westbrook was LOSING IT on Malone during the 4th for leaving Zeke in (first over Porter, then over Westbrook).

Stidham is a super solid backup. Pretty happy with that one.

I have no idea who the Broncos are gonna sign tomorrow but the ILB FA crop has gotten so thinned out today. Greenlaw is about the only dude left. I’m not gonna be shocked if we take Alexander in the 1st round now, and a TE in the 2nd.

I was hoping the Broncos could grab LB jamien sherwood but It looks like he resigned with the jets. One of the few young players on the rise availble at that position

I don't know much about Hufanga. I see he made the Pro bowl in 2023 and then ran into to some injury problems. Does he normally play FS like Locke, or is he more of a SS guy?
Plays the run well and was coming along to be a great cover safety as well until he tore his ACL. Was awesome in 2023 like ya said. Last year his ACL was good but then he had some sort of arm injury. So if he's healthy - he's probably going to be very good for us.

He's one of those FA's out there that have injury history but if that's past him, we got ourselves a hell of a player.

They definitely got him slated to replace Locke. I'm not even sure teams really slot guys as FS/SS anymore. Hell some teams (broncos included) play with 3 safeties for large portions of the game. The NFL passing game demands that everyone can cover nowadays, or you absolutely get exposed.

I'm surprised they brought back DJ Jones. I figured he was going to be signing elsewhere.
I'm a little surprised too but DJ definitely is top 5 in stopping the run.

If we can can fill ILB, S, and TE in FA it's totally possible we could draft DJ's replacement in this draft. This upcoming defensive line draft class is supposedly going to be epic and very deep.

ILB is where I'm worried....... Greenlaw is still out there as a really good UFA but there's not much left past him. The Broncos are moving Sanders from OLB to ILB permanently. And we have Alex Singleton but he was being talked about as a cap casualty. So right now we have a total of 1 inside LB (2 if Singleton stays) and we are likely going to need roster 4.

RB is another area of need, but this is also supposed to be a very deep RB draft too. But it'd still be nice to get an actual veteran back in here (thats not Javonte)
