OT: Other Sports: Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies etc…Part VII

I’ll never understand how MLB can have such bad officiating. There only ever one thing happening at a time, and they don’t even need to move.
There are more chances for them to screw up, which means they screw up more often, and that can give us a skewed perspective about how bad they are. There are a ton of pitches in any given MLB game. And the ball is really small and moving really fast, so it can be hard to figure out. Those are two factors.

But baseball also has the most stupid ass "unwritten rules" and reputation calls. A strike for prime Greg Maddux or Roger Clemens is different from a strike for a rookie pitcher with a reputation for control issues. Sad fact of life. And the same goes for hitters.

Baseball is the one sport where they have the technology to take all decisions - especially balls and strikes - away from officials and give to technology.

If tennis can get things right in seconds, so can baseball.

DeJean being good in the NFL was one of the locks if you watched Iowa.

If you didn't, you're smart for missing out on Brian Ferentz' "offense"
