Who could the Nuggets have acquired? Maybe Bruce gets bought out and wants to come back, about all the Nuggets could hope for as an upgrade. Yeah a couple guys aren't working out and they are stuck with them but none of them were anything close to core players.

Sounds like they missed out on or f***ed up any of the trades they had on the board and the other teams danced with a different partner

1. Instead of attaching three draft picks to dump Reggie Jackson, they should have used those picks to dump Jalen Pickett and Hunter Tyson.

2. Use that open roster spot to retain Justin Holiday

3. Instead of signing Spencer Jones, retain Jay Huff on a two-way

4. Instead of signing PJ Hall, retain Collin Gillespie on a two-way

Those were all easily doable moves this offseason and they would've given us 8 million in expiring contracts rather than an extra year of Pickett and Tyson, and we'd still be under the 2nd apron.

Then your lineup is
Murray/Westbrook/Jackson/Gillespie
Braun/Holiday/Strawther/Alexander
Porter/Watson
Gordon/Cancar/Nnaji [Holmes injured]
Jokic/Huff/Jordan/Saric

That doesn't even require the foresight to know how absolutely washed Saric is.

Then tonight your guard rotation would have been Jackson, Gillespie, Braun, Holiday, and Strawther instead of Braun, Strawther, Pickett, and nobody.

I think the TDL was fine because there wasn't a move out there that would move the needle much. If people are pissed about that, I think they're stupid.

If people are pissed because of the prior moves Booth had made to put them in this position to begin with, that's very reasonable.
