I already saw the Lakers media lathering it all on saying everyone is so ‘inspired’ by LeBrons conditioning and that he will have a dramatic effect on Luka.

Then I look at our roster, and the lack of assets we have to trade, and it makes me want to choke Calvin Booth. You really thought that three rookies, Zeke Naji, and a completely washed Dario Saric was going to help us become a dynasty? You really think signing players that are always hurt, and only look good when Jokic is on the floor, to max contracts is a good move? MPJ completely disappearing in series while being on a max deal and you don't move on from him? The Wolves weren't even covering him at the end of that series last year because of how trash he was... Seriously f***, Calvin Booth!

We have a truly generational player that is putting up numbers that only Wilt Chamberlain was getting while playing against average Joes, and we have no idea how to build around him. We won a ring, thank god, but let's be honest, the West wasn't as good that year as it is now, and the Heat weren't exactly a tough opponent in the Finals, especially missing Tyler Herro.

Totally get where you were going with the praying mantis meaning Dallas couldn’t get a better deal elsewhere. This is why I’m not sold on that idea. Even if Dallas was set on him being the centrepiece (fair enough although relying on his health is an issue) opening this up to more teams puts pressure on LA to add more secondary pieces so at least you get a better deal out of them

i think I’m not as high on Luka as everyone else. The guy can never stay in shape. What’s he going to look like when he’s 30? His body is already busting down because he can’t stop eating.

I do think it’s hilarious though that LeBron is going to have to play with a white dude that’s equally as good as him at this point. That’s the best part of the trade for me. - “ok bron you’re gonna dribble around the defense until there’s 3 seconds left and then pass it to the white fat kid who’s going to try to nail down the winning shot for us. Ready? Go!”

Maybe Jokic can show him how to make the dad bod work.
