Dallas GM had completely lost the plot. Surely at least one other team would’ve offered a better package for DoncicWell then... I did not believe it was legit.
Luka Doncic is an L.A. Laker
Fun to think about but what's the point of such a team? Not only different eras and different types of athletes, but also no role players which are really how you put a champion together. I mean end of a close game does MJ or LBJ get the ball? Or maybe you just give it to Shaq and he gets an easy basket. It's just pointless, you're picking out the best to play the game throughout all the eras, no more. I think we're seeing that with the Mavs and this trade, Luka can make crazy shots and good passes, but I think the Mavs are betting that their big men are the secret to getting through the West. And for all the focus on what a great passer Joker is, he too tends to just put the team on his back and score a lot in crucial playoff games.PG: Nikola Jokic
SG: Michael Jordan
SF: LeBron James
PF: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
C: SHAQ

Agree on this but not sure there was a better move to make. He probably gets more picks but the Mavs are in a bad spot timing wise. Probably need a couple years to hit a new peak with Luka, but by then the Spurs could be relevant while the Thunder, Grizz and Rockets will certainly be tough outs.Dallas GM had completely lost the plot. Luka is a fat, toxic, lazy idiot and they don't want to give him a supermax contract. He's 270 pounds right now. He eats cheeseburgers and drinks beer in public hours before NBA games. The man sincerely only cares about his own statlines and nothing else.Wait, what!? Why the f*** would tbe Mavs do that!?!?!?
Trading Mikko for Crosby. How's that? Can someone put this in hockey terms?

Prime Crosby. This is an all defensive player being traded for a yearly top 3 MVP candidate.Trading Mikko for Crosby. How's that?
Fine, trade him for something else thenMaybe the GM was tired of being the Allas Mavericks?

That was glorious. If you take a past their prime, 32 year old two way player who is elite defensively but is injury prone and inconsistent, whose reputation has been tanked by a single one on one matchup with another player in recent seasons
IMO this is like the Avs trading Cale Makar for Artemi Panarin. Can someone put this in hockey terms?
Kucherov/Matthews for like Mark Stone maybe? Can someone put this in hockey terms?
