Calvin Booth has got to go. After telling us the Nuggets should be able to compete for 3-4 more championships he proceeded to absolutely destroy the roster around Jokic. Freaking terrible. The bench on this team is basically non-existent. I blame Malone for some of it (he seems so damn stubborn on playing the same 6-8 guys night in and night out) but Booth is the ultimate fall guy for me. I honestly don’t see what competency Calvin even brings to his role - he’s an absolutely atrocious negotiator in all aspects: contract negotiation, draft, trade negotiation, etc……I literally don’t understand what the hell he actually brings to the table.

Yeah, it's actually insane how many favourable calls the Chiefs got not only this game but all season long.

We know pro sports leagues are capable of rigging games. We've seen it with the NBA during the early 2000s when the league made damn sure the Lakers beat the Kings.

I wouldn't put it past the NFL at all to do everything possible to ensure KC ends up in the Super Bowl because of Swift, attracting so much more viewership and sponsorship dollars.

It obviously sucks for Bills fans. That said, the Bills had all three timeouts and 3:30 left on the clock. As good as Josh Allen is, you can't have TWO passes batted down on 1st and 2nd down, especially when you're a f***ing giant.

Then on 4th down, I feel like a crazy person because I have harped on it all year and no team seems prepared for it. You KNOW on 4th down when Spagnuolo needs a stop he is sending the HOUSE at you. Idgaf if he disguises it, you know it's coming. For Buffalo to be unprepared and Allen have to run for his life within literally miliseconds of the snap was unacceptable and should cost Joe Brady his job. And it STILL was catchable if Dalton Kincaid wasn't a f***ing loser with no hands.

I just don't get how the Nuggets couldn't figure out pregame that a young Bulls team built to drain 3s is going to drain 3s all night. Then during the game they're draining 3s and you're just letting it happen.

Just the shittiest, laziest, dumbest defense in the league right now.

Yeah that was super weak. The analyst after the game was so right - just uncontested 3’s all damn night long. The stats last night were just crazy. Bench got out scored by like 30+ points. We had something like 25 less 3 pt attempt and 18 less completed 3’s. But then we outscored them in the paint by like 50 pts. That was a weird game. Definitely one that the advanced analytic guys will gobble up because it just cements the argument of how powerful shooting over 36-ish percent beyond the arc really is in this league. Im totally on board with moving the 3 pt line back.

I'm curious how moving the 3 point line back would work. The corner is already 1'9" closer than the top of the arc. There is only 36 inches to work with in the corners, and if recent games are an indicator, the dumbasses on both teams manage to step out even with the 36 inch zone. Is the idea to increase the width of the court 1.75 foot on each side? Or just reward corner shooters a serious advantage.

Imo widening the court wouldn’t be that noticeable, especially since there is probably no reason to change the size of the key. It would probably create more space for guys to trying to play inside, too

It’s genuinely depressing what Malone and Booth are doing to Joker’s career. You’d want more than one Cup out of Mack and Makar but hockey relies a lot more on health, depth and getting the bounces. Only getting Joker one ring in a sport heavily influenced by superstars is a straight up organizational failure

Wilt could never play with so many stars. He was the biggest stat padder in NBA history; it wasn't until he started playing with Jerry West that he'd even tolerate his teammates running a fast break. He wanted every possession to run through him so he always got the shot or the assist.

Honestly though, I wonder how MJ would've been as a 3. We all know he could sink it from distance, but he just didn't like to, he drove to the net every chance he got. LeBron started as a PG but I think he's been a SF for most of his career.
