Chiefs the luckiest team in sports history yet again. Oh well, someone better crush them in the playoffs.

That game was winnable if not for the unsurprising lopsided calls from the officials...

The worst was the massive hold and Franklin-Myers that went completely uncalled - zero flags from anyone - even if he ended up getting to the QB later on in the play. Two plays later, they called Brandon Jones for illegal contact - a massive bullshit call - mahomes was already wrapped up by the time the receiver got to where Jones was.

f***ing joke league instead of taking them out of field goal range - they scored 7 and the difference in the game.

Kansas Shitty is getting help from the refs every single week - it's a complete embarrassment.

I was working so I didn't get to watch the whole game, but I hope this teaches them about going for it and less conservative plays in key moments.

Yeah I just watched the end, we got to the 17 yard line with 100 seconds left and two timeouts, and not a single throw after that.
Wtf are you talking about they did exactly what they were supposed to do. If they threw they ball, don’t convert and don’t burn the clock. You settle for a field goal and give Mahomes time to drive down and win the game.

Literally every single team in the league would’ve done the same thing. You don’t count on a 30 something yard field goal getting blocked.

I would've liked them to try and get a new set of downs around the 8 yard line? Then you burn the clock.

Things are gonna get really interesting with Prime if Florida State fires Norvell.
One simple research and you'll know that will never happen.

Norvell has a 65M buyout and Deion burned the bridges with FSU.

Come on, now. Refs probably meet players before games all the time, too. We just don't hear about it because those players are not Taylor Swift.
Simply disagree. It's almost impossible to remain unbiased after that. Refs can't be meeting with players girlfriends prior to calling a game, that's not a good look. It looks even worse when the game was as poorly called as it was.

So are Cavaliers fans just dumb? They got, like, the best team in the NBA right now (I'm too lazy to actually look at the standings) and they appear to have been way, way more excited about watching LeBron's son sink his first NBA basket (BTW, Bronny's in the G-League last I checked).

I suppose I'd be more excited about a father/son duo in professional sports if it hadn't already been done twice (Gordie Howe and Ken Griffey).

He's "one of their own" given he was born and raised in Cleveland.

The NBA is arguably the only league in pro sports where players get cheered more than teams. Used to happen to Kobe Bryant all the time whenever the Lakers visited Atlanta, Washington, Philadelphia, and New York.
