Minnesota sports are cursed which is why Nuggets/Avs losing playoff series to a Minnesota sports teams is even more embarrassing.

Kinda hope he takes it.

Deion is a great recruiter, but what's the point when you have Pat Shurmer as your OC and don't develop a running game. Plus, Deion is terrible when it comes to big games. He can beat up on the bottom feeders, but a real team will have no trouble coming up with a superier game plan against him. Deion couldn't even win the Celebration Bowl when he was in the SWAC.

Let's be honest, the offense they're running isn't Shurmur's.

The Mavericks only got off five field goal attempts with Russ as the primary defender yesterday and they missed all five of them.

In a nice surprise, Vlatko Cancar traveled with the team and went through a full workout before the game yesterday. He had been originally scheduled for an evaluation in February to decide whether or not to shut him down for the season, but he said today that he expects to be 100% by the end of January. Apparently his recent knee procedure was very minor but they used the chance to clean up some scar tissue that had been bothering him, and now the knee feels better than before he injured it.

If he can return and stay healthy that's a huge bonus for the Nuggets. It allows them to move Watson back to the wing and not have to try to play him as a power forward so much, and it gives them another versatile defender and competent three point shooter.

Whatever they're running, it sucks ass, and is not viable if you want to win a championship. Plus, it's really gonna look bad with no Travis Hunter out there.
This was basically Shedeur's offense, it's what he ran in HS, Jackson State, etc. This year's offense is nothing close to what Shurmur has ran in the past. Granted, I think Shurmur sucks because I can't blame him too much after reading more info.

Losing Prime will suck, but I just don't see Jerry Jones hiring someone that's a bigger attention whore than him. Also the trading Dak & draft Shedeur doesn't make sense at all from the salary cap point.

Lol, Deion simply isn't a great coach. He's great recruiter and promoter. Which is great for college not the NFL.

Deion isn't a good enough Xs and Os guy to have success at the next level. Anyone who's watched CU football the last 2 years will tell you lots of fun but not much substance. And tons of just mediocre coaching decisions. It was pretty much the Sanders and Hunter go make a play show. Any time time they went against credible teams with quality coaching CU got worked.

I'd love for him to stay at CU as I said earlier great for the college game. If he takes the Dallas job, good for him, but I can't see it going well.

Personally don't see him leaving CU for Dallas. The only way he'd go to the NFL is if he could coach Shedeur, which at 12 where Dallas picks isn't happening. He could try to pull the I will only play for Dallas shit, but he has no other options. He can't John Elway it and threaten to play baseball. His leverage is low and Dallas has no leverage either since no one wants Dak and that contract.

with Shadeur and Hunter in the Big12/FCS, Deion's been playing the equivalent of Tecmo Bowl with Bo Jackson and Randall Cunningham on his team against all these crappy opponents. I'm really interested to see what he does when they face any adversity at all. Maybe that already happened in the bowl game where they got slaughtered. For all the glitz and glamour, it's a bit crazy that they couldn't win their division despite having 2 of the top 5 Heisman trophy candidates. There was a LOT of stat padding throughout the course of the season with Shadeur still throwing the ball late in the 4th quarter when they were beating up clearly overmatched opponents.

Deion going to the NFL would expose everything he isn't good at. He can be a, or at least look like a good college coach due to his ability as a recruiter. But going to the NFL that shit won't matter much and he'd get exposed pretty heavily. But more power to him if he wants that.

I think I read that the Broncos are picking 20th. That’s a good spot. Hit seems like there’s often a QB or some other appealing player who falls there. The Broncos should be able to trade down a few spots and pick up another 2nd.
