Saw an ESPN article the other day claiming that Illinois was the best team in the Big10, a top 10 team in the nation, a legit National Championship contender, etc....

I know they were off to a hot start but i have serious doubts considering its a completely different team than what they had last season and they're very young/inexperienced. Today's loss i think kinda shows that its time to pump the breaks on the hype. The win over Oregon might have been a bit misleading. This team is good, and its impressive to be this good with this must roster turnover. But IMO they aren't championship material, kinda like last season and previous teams under Underwood they're a good team but a tier below the elite. They live and die by the 3 too much and the defense is rather weak for an Underwood coached team.

Yup....and they were never really in the game down the stretch either. Got dominated in the 2nd half. Final score wasn't even that close. Against an average nobody USC team. This is the kind of loss that makes you wonder just how good of team they truly are. And yes its definitely gonna hurt them in the standings/might cost them the conference title.

While I agree, they were also missing their best player who kind of makes it all click. I think they have the talent to make a deep run, mostly depending on KJ, but not title contenders. And still a lot of unknown. Hopefully KJ’s injury - whatever it is - isn’t something that lingers for a long time.

Don’t have a south side hissy lol. It’s not Cubs themed. It’s Chicago flag themed. This style would’ve made a way cooler winter classic design than those uninspired knockoffs we got a few weeks ago.

It's not bad. ;)

I'm just a traditionalist. I like the Hawks uniforms as they are. Just need the third black back and they're good.

I like the white one, I don't like the blue one.

If I could ever find a hat with that coloring/logo that isn't stiff and flat brimmed I'd absolutely buy one.
