Little surprised on this as I thought Sox were viewing Patino as latest "Rehab" project as he showed some flashes in his brief time with Sox

But I guess they didn't like what they saw from him

I dont understand acquiring both Stassi and Maldonado

Stassi the Sox are only on hook for league minimum and Braves ate the rest of his costs to clear his contract. I would assume he is DFA in future and made FA

Korey Lee would be expected to platoon with Maldonado at this pint

Luxury tax spending since 2003. Once again, f*** Tom Ricketts.

I’d be willing to bet that had the Pistons just been a normal team, the Celtics would’ve shrugged and just cruised to a loss after that horrible start.

But no team wants to be the jagoffs that break the Pistons losing streak.

I was going to say, the Bulls should help end that losing streak but the Bulls/Pistons don't play again until late February. No matter how bad DET is, I doubt they go another 2 months without a win.

Gio Boston bound

Gio when he is on is very good (2019-2021 and first half of this past season) but when he is off (2018, 2022 and 2nd half of last year) he can be horrific.

Consistency has been his issue. It appeared he had gotten over that problem with his 3-year stretch but last 2 years he has again seen it become issue.
