He just had to beat Sherzer and he did. And technically his outing was only 3 runs, below his post season ERA. If Mattingly was still manager he would have pitched the 6th and it really would have been a disaster.
 
Glad he got the win but it's troubling that he seems to lose his composure when he gets into a little trouble. He was sweating bullets and had almost no control. Hopefully he's more comfortable in his next start.
 
I wonder if he tweeked his back. I was only able to listen on the radio and the analysts were saying he seemed off in a way an injury would make a pitcher miss the zone.

Think there is rain predicted for hours, like till late into the night.
So they don't want multiple delays.
And with game 3 schedules for 4pm on Monday they have to play early tomorrow.

Mattingly didn't have the bullpen options that Roberts does.
 
The Rams actually look like a modern offense today, did Fisher finally put his ego aside an let the OC do his job ?

Or maybe after that embarrassing opener, Stan read Fisher the riot act.
 
I'm a Bills fan so I'm happy with the result of this game.

You can blame Fisher for the Rams losing. Should have gone for it on 4th and goal at the 5.

Or going with the fake punt when EVERYONE saw it coming. I swear you could even hear the fans yelling "fake". The turnovers didn't help either.
 
Didn't even show any fight in the end. Just went down in order. This is not a postseason team. Aside from Seager the Dodgers' best hitters have been invisible.
 
major kudos to Kershaw but that bullpen really blew it bring in Baez and he hits a guy then Avilan oh brother really annoyed right now, bring on Hockey
 
Dodgers are done and desperate Turner with power and he bunts, this team is pathetic right now
