I think Kershaw's problem in the playoffs is that he makes it unnecessarily difficult on himself. We've seen virtually no breaking balls on a team that can't hit breaking balls. He needs to trust in the talent and filthy arsenal of pitches that he has.

Another "lifelong suffering Cubs fan". I've lived through the ownerships of FOX and Frank McCourt and was born four years after their last championship.

Welp, at least Game 7 won't coincide with The Walking Dead premier. #silverlining

I normally watch the World Series and other championship games regardless of the teams playing, but I don't think I can stomach this one. I've heard enough about the Cubs.

I can. After three straight even years of the Giants winning it, I can certainly peacefully watch this World Series.

I am happy for them.
I've met so many older people, heard so many stories, in a way it reminds me of the Kings, with Bartmann being their McSorely and the whole dynamic of having to see your local rivals win.

Now, it's not over yet, they still need 4 more wins, but I think they are heavy favorites.

I do however think that they will lose some of the sympathy because they are so loaded, there is no way this team doesn't win atleast 2 WS in the next decade, even if they don't this year. It's almost unfair how good their roster is.

I don't feel that bad about the loss. You're up against a century of waiting @ Wrigley Field in an elimination game and the Dodgers were lucky to be in the series at all. But yeah, prepare for Cubs fans to become the most insufferable in all of sports. It happened when the Red Sox finally won. It's gonna happen with them.

wow - football from across the pond is unwatchable! Typical Rams play: 3rd and 8, why not try a 2-yd pass to the flat?

a punt to you, why do you make a fair catch..... at the 5-yd line?!

Keenam has not made a pass attempt downfield yet - everything is to the flat. Why not at least try to throw downfield?

Fisher just has to go. No team can be this bad.

They will be lucky to win 6 games.

I don't care if Goff starts as long as Keenum doesn't. Maybe Kurt Warner wants to come out of retirement?

Yeah, I'm not that upset they lost this series but this game brought back a lot of playoff demons for Kershaw and the Blue. It seems like everything was downhill after the blown replay at home.

Happy for the Cubbies, I guess, but pretty embarrassed that was the last game of the season.

Case Keenum sucks!!! Time to play Goff.

Keenum was a pile of crap today! He did nothing but throw picks and run into sacks. The play calling was atrocious too. Even the NFL Network was mocking the team and the game.

Fisher: "The quarterback isn't our problem"

Dang Cubs are a good team they deserve it. It's been longer then forever, but just watching the Cubs celebrate and thinking Trout and Kershaw may never get a taste with their current teams. Sad.
