"DirectTV now carries the Dodgers!"
"That's good!"
"The season has been delayed."
"That's bad."
Lmao great timing.
Will AT&T TV (formerly directv now) carry it as well?

Yes, all AT&T affiliates will carry it in local markets by April 8th.
Don't disappoint Monica!!Cheer was really good.
It's funny how Trout was the first to shoot down the AZ idea, now MLB is going to ask for paycuts. So for those of you wanting sports back now-enter the lawyers!
Paycuts were a given, they weren't getting their full salaries if they only played lets say ~120 games, add to that no gate, which makes up 30% of MLB revenues (as of 2017) and you go from a $10B/year industry to between 5 and 6.
Should the general public expect pay cuts when they go back to work? I don't think that's going to go over well and the lawsuits will fly. If my employer cuts my pay when times get tough then I expect a raise when things are going well. I'm not their business partner though. And if I play for a team like the Dodgers and they cut my pay then I'm not playing. These teams make money on much more than ticket sales, don't try to take money out of my pocket. This is going to get ugly, all the player unions fighting the NHL, the NBA and MLB.

Are you saying the players are partners with the owners in the business?Should the general public expect pay cuts when they go back to work? I know you lime to follow me around and dissect my posts as though I'm hiding meanings behind what I type. I'm saying exactly what you quoted! That's it. Are we clear? Are you saying the players are partners with the owners in the business?
I am not sure why you are under the illusion anyone here is "following you around". I interact with many posters, and you are not "special". I hope that is crystal clear.I know you lime to follow me around and dissect my posts as though I'm hiding meanings behind what I type. I'm saying exactly what you quoted! That's it. Are we clear?

Both the Angels and Dodgers play in stadiums that were built in the 1960s.
Starting in 2020, every other LA team will be playing in a venue that is no older than 27 years old.
The Clippers are also exploring a new arena.
With so many newer venues in LA, the baseball teams should seriously consider building new stadiums to keep up with the Joneses. Renovations can only keep a stadium viable for so long.
What about Staples Center? It's already 20 years old. And you know how arenas generally have short lifespans.
