And the Rams season end with two 3rd and 17 completions that lead to a gw FG by the 49ers. Bad penalties on the tying drive too.

The difference was again a missed field goal and of course a pick six. Onto next year and get that OLINE fixed cuz it's been a disaster most of the year. Oh yeah and Goff needs to be better. Can't win them all. Need to start video taping walk through's cuz it's working for the Cheetah's. :sarcasm:

Yep, another tough one. I can’t stomach those, very bad for my health.

Credit to the Vikqueens. They had an excellent game plan on defense to attack the interior of the Saints O-line. When Brees gets pressured/hurried, he becomes indecisive and ineffective.

Dalvin Cook was solid and their O-line held up well.

Payton thinks he’s smarter than everyone in the room and it f***s the team. Poor play calling and preparedness today.

If Dallas wants him, I’d gladly take one of their guards and a 2nd round draft pick as compensation. :naughty:

Love Taysom Hill. Brings it every game.

Can’t wait to see Andrus Peat get the f*** of town. He’s a turnstile at guard and Warford, this season was not much better.

Wish they used Jared Cook and Latavius Murray more. Kamara is not a 3-down back and had a pedestrian season.

Sucks to lose as the NFL off-season is just so long compared to the other sports. Stings but it is what it is, life goes on. :)

Yeah, Taysom Hill was awesome for the Saints today.

I know that was a tough one for you to watch. The Vikings had an excellent game plan on offense today, and a well-rested Cook helped.

Indeed, last 3 years in the playoffs have been down right heartbreak.

This years hurts because the Saints could of easily had a 1st round bye had the Lions held onto beat GB or Seattle not screwing the pooch at home in the dying seconds last Sunday night.

You got to make your own breaks though. Saints shit the bed at home after their bye to Atlanta, unacceptable. They also could not stop the Niners at home in a game that surely would have locked up the top seed for them. No excuses.

Glass half full view, atleast the Kings are keeping me stress free and our boys got Gold today at the World Juniors.

Clemson playing a 3-1-7 defense to open the game against LSU, and has two 3-and-outs on LSU's first two possessions. Looks like a good game plan by the Clemson defensive coordinator. Will LSU adjust now and try more of a power running game.

I would stomach a tank season from the Aints’ just so they could grab Lawrence.

This is going to be a beauty of a game.

Poor Burrow, likely going to the Bungles next year.

Lawrence may not be as pure a passer as Burrow, but I think he is the better athlete.

Yes I would tend to agree. I think Lawrence can get there in time.

Burrow can absolutely sling it.

Like how both guys read the game. They don’t seem to get caught in two minds often.

Both should turn onto very solid pros.

I'd just outright strip them of their championship, just vacate it and say there was no champion that year. I've argued that the 2002 Lakers should have an asterisk because of what happened in that Game 6, but this just goes beyond that by an insane margin. The Lakers benefitted from something insanely crooked but they weren't involved in it themselves.

Cora should have same fate as the Manager and GM. He should be suspended for the year, and the Red Sox should do honorable thing and fire him as soon as he is. None of these guys should ever work in the sport again.

Lawrence did not have a strong game but dude just turned 20 and he is like 27-1 as a starter.

Usually the biggest maturation with college QB's is from year 2 to year 3, so just look out next season, assuming he doesn't sit out. Burrow is amazing to, and this is the best college team since the Miami teams in the late 90's/early 00's but Burrow is also 23 (he's older than Lamar Jackson). Pretty massive difference between 23 and 20.

What the Astros did is beyond the pale. Everyone tries to steal signs with a runner on 2nd base, or from the baseline coaching boxes. Doing it with centerfield cameras? Everyone knows this is blatant cheating. The Astro players should be ashamed. They didn't win a damn thing.

Does the Astros scandal explain what happened to Yu Darvish in that last game? I recall at the time people were suggesting that the Astros figured out he was tipping his pitches.

Sort of, it seems the Astros only did this at home (probably harder to get away with in a road dugout) and game 7 was at Dodger Stadium. That being said, Darvish had also pitched and gotten lit up in game 3 at Houston, a game in which they were cheating, and I'd have to assume that it had a mental effect on his game 7 performance.
