Sean Peyton just mentioned in his post game presser the NFL called him and admitted they blew the pass interference call. And it also should have been helmet to helmet.

Geez, thanks for that NFL.

I think it’s time to have penalty calls be part of the challenge process. It prevents an embarrassment like today for the league and may actually cut down on the amount of challenges we see on smaller plays as coaches will be incentivized to keep them for potentially game changing penalties or non-penalties later in the game.

The NFL needs LA in the Super Bowl. Just no excuse for the official on that pass interference call, so obvious.

So you're ready for coaches to challenge every single play for holding?

Not gonna lie about the blown interference call. But guess what, personally, my teams have always been on the bad end of bad no-calls. Barcelona-Chelsea in 2009, Cubs-Dodgers in 2016 (Game 4). I was told that life ain't fair. Now I'm telling them the same thing!

I admire Sean Payton's composure in the post game interview. Well done coach.

I don’t admire some of his play calling. No need to take the ball out of Drew Brees hands in the red zone which he did on a few occasions this evening. Like Taysom Hill as a jack of all trades, but pick your spots to use him, especially in a championship game.

New England's game plan against KC is run the ball, then run it some more.

New England defense is playing the Chiefs exactly the same as they played the Chargers last week with 9-10 men on the line of scrimmage.

So you would have been fine with the Rams also being able to challenge for the facemask missed call or the INT call against them in OT?

Haha. I would have been fine with a review on all the missed calls in the first half that I noted earlier in the thread against the Saints.

NFL blew an obvious call. The facemask we saw in slow motion replay and it wasn’t so obvious in real time as was the PI/helmet to helmet. Robey-Coleman even admitted after the game he was late and the coverage and was doing anything he could to stop at TD. Haha.

Again, I credit the Rams for the win. But the officials really f***ed up a call that would have taken the Saints to the SB.

Penalties should be reviewed in the last 2 minutes of each half. You can’t review every call. The games would take forever and a day to play.
