Mark Schanowski is a mouth piece for management. Practice after back to back games is unusual ... but not out of question. However, what he fails to tells you:
1. The Bulls had back to back hard 3+ hour practices after Hoiberg was fired.
2. The Bulls just lost a tough Pacers' game afterwards.
3. The Bulls had another 3+ hour practice after the Pacers game.
4. The Bulls went back to back against OKC and Celtics.
5. Boylen schedules another hard practice after the back to back.
That's 4 three plus hour practices and 3 games in 7 days.
Even then, the players would have done it IF Boylen wasn't trying to embarrass them through the media. I think that's what bothered them the most. Furthermore, the fact MGMT. was asked to be in the player's only meeting ... they think MGMT is telling Boylen to do this. There's no trust.
Finally, Boylen can't be saying this kind of poop to the media. This would infuriate me too:
"Jim Boylen didn't play his starters in the final 21 minutes because he believed that practice tomorrow would be more beneficial than having them play in the second half of a game they weren't going to win tonight."
This is the last straw for me. JOHN PAXSON should be FIRED. Boylen and Foreman should leave the organization too. And if Lavine needs to be traded, so be it.
