For sure. I saw when we started on offense that neither Smith nor Byrne were out there so I thought for sure Tavares was going to try and send a message. But it could have been precautionary in case Rochester wanted to try and start something. I wonder if with it being so late in game and our 2nd game of the year versus them already if Tavares was worried about 1) the league coming down on them if they just tried to start a fight right away and 2) didn’t want to possibly get someone hurt in a fight/scrum that late if Rochester wanted to be dirty.
