Haven’t moved in the parking lot yet. But totally worth it.

I’m not surprised Dhane won MVP and not saying it wasn’t deserved but how it didn’t go to Matt after his performance tonight is beyond me.

Colorado only has 2, unfortunately (not counting the one from 1987 when they were the Baltimore Thunder). You're thinking of Philly.

6: Philladelphia Wings and Toronto Rock
5: Rochester Knighthawks and Buffalo Bandits
3: Edmonton(1)/Saskatchewan(2) Rush, Calgary Roughnecks, and Baltimore Thunder(1)/Colorado Mammoth(2)
1: New York/New Jersey Saints (folded 2003), Georgia Swarm, Detroit Turbos (folded 1994), Washington Stealth (today's Vancouver Warriors)

The Philadelphia team that won those 6 Championships is the Albany Firewolves now. The current Philadelphia Wings are a recent expansion team. They haven't won a title yet.

The Rochester Knighthawks that won 5 Championships are the Halifax Thunderbirds now. The current K-Hawks is also a recent expansion team.

I know that's technically the case, but that's stupid. They should've left the history in Philly and Rochester like the NFL did with the Browns/Ravens. Those championships belong to those fans in those cities. People in Halifax didn't watch the damn K-Hawks and people in Albany don't even watch the Wolves now, let alone when they were the original Philadelphia Wings.

I say this as an Avs fan who believes the Nords history belongs in and to Quebec. I respect the Nordiques history but I can't pretend I or anybody else here in Denver followed the Nordiques. What hockey fans we did have were mostly Blackhawks fans because Chicago teams tended to be on TV here before the arrival of the Rockies and Avs (Tribune used to own the local Fox and CW/WB stations here). There are no Stastny or Goulet banners hanging up in our rafters next to Sakic, Roy, Forsberg, Foote, Hejduk, and Bourque.

I was at the game and it was absolutely incredible. I'll never forget it. Both goalies played insane. The feeling to actually win the whole thing is something that is unmatched in sports. One day the Sabres or Bills will do it. Until then I'll remember this one for awhile. First championship in teams I cheer for since 2009.

Those championships belong to the players that earned them just as much as the fans that supported them. The legacy of those players is in the franchise they played for. They earned those titles with their blood and sweat, and they shouldn't have to leave them behind just because the team has moved.

Yeah. It was amazing. I’ve been at ever championship they’ve won at home and I think tonight was my favorite one. I think it was a combination of payback after last year and being at all the home games this year as a family. Truly was an amazing season both on the floor and getting to spend nights out with my family.

Hey Hey Hey...... Dark Ages?

Some of my first sports memories are of this team. My father and his brother had season tickets and I remember most of the players on that team - and how happy we all were when we won. Kemp, Sestak, McDole, Gilchrist, Gogolak, Dubenion, Stratton, Byrd, Carlton are a few that come to mind without looking. So maybe "Dim Ages?" might be more appropriate.

I know you've been around for a while as well and I'm just having some fun remembering those years.

Hey man, don't hate on the RHI champion Buffalo Stampede!

I am obligated to remind the gallery that the Buffalo Beauts captured the then-NWHL's Isobel Cup in 2017, behind a 70+ save performance from Brianne McLaughlin-Bittle.

I'm looking to score some Bandits Championship gear. Does anyone know if the BFLO Store on Transit has anything? Trying to avoid the Sabres Store if I can help it, but if that's my best/only option I will go there.

For the record, the BFLO Store on Transit does have Bandits championship t-shirts. They're the same as the ones the team wore on the field after the game. $35.

Always nice to beat Mexico in soccer/futbol, U.S. play Canada in the Final Sunday in Vegas

Not nice of Mex fans, hopefully they are heavily disciplined

Berhalter is back as U.S. coach again

Four wins and one draw in our last five competitive matches again Mexico is outstanding. Last night was so much fun, albeit insane. El Tri is a full level behind us right now and their program is in disarray. It's going to take a lot for them to close the gap as the USMNT continues its rise.

Marcelo Balboa called the match "Kick Ass"! :D He framed it as this crap has been going on for years and years and the U.S. stood up for themselves although he regretted the Dest red. I thought Dest was great until he got pulled into that fray. They will need someone to come in and talk to these kids now about not getting suckered into the crap.

Canada will be tough in the final Sunday, especially without Dest and McKennie for the U.S.
