Yeah it was certainly a hard fought win. The offense was certainly banged up a lot. You could tell when the team came out in the 2nd half Dhane just knew he had to put the team on his back and he did.Tough OT win for the Bandits tonight. Lots of guys banged up in this one. Luckily they're off next week, hopefully they can get some guys healed up.
I have a feeling this means some of the injuries from last game are going to have guys out extended time.
Odds are, he is.I hope that means Fraser is healed up and able to play.
Odds are, he is.
And if memory serves, Cloutier may be close to returning. Unknown about Byrne, though; I'm heading up to Halifax for the weekend(to see not just the Bandits/T-Birds, but also a little QMJHL action; Halifax is facing Cape Breton)so I'll get to see it for myself.
They can certainly use the abrasive game and big righthand shot options from Fraser. Cloutier has been a big missing, hope his knee is healed.
I remember seeing a players poll from The Lax Mag website before this season started, and-among other revelations-it noted that Fraser was voted as the least liked player in the league...probably due to said abrasive nature of his play. Mind you, I LIKE Fraser's game but I can see why he's loathed by other teams/players. Insofar as Cloutier, IIRC he injured his thumb a few weeks ago.
Fraser is LAX Hunter/Marchand. He's SUCH a dink. But he's our dink.
Finally some good Buffalo sports news
This is true. At least the Bandits have the ability to do that if needed. Smith can also put the team on his back if needed but him having his right hand man back in Byrne is huge.No Bombary, no Martin? Mr. Vinc, you are going to be busier. But Cloutier and Byrne back is huge. I supposed they will be like the Sabres and try to just shoot their way out of issues.
Fitting after that amazing one-man goal was waved off for the shot clock that Cloutier gets the OT winner.
