Unpopular opinion: I don't care one bit about players' private lives, as long as they aren't actively detrimental to the community or society (e.g. Kane, Kane, Voynov, Hill, ...). I don't care what they wear at the airport, what their golf handicap is, not even which charities they support.

If they have in their heart to support charitable causes that's great and helpful either way and I don't need to know about it, unless I happen to have some personal connection to that player or cause.

Agreed for famous people/public figures in general minus the charity aspect. Public figures, athletes included showing support for a charity brings awareness to those charities/causes which is a good thing.

But yeah, other than that I don’t care what they are doing in their private lives as long as, as you said, they aren’t being detrimental to society/people in their lives.

Nanticoke is a force of nature.
Yes he is. Imagine him in front of the net on an NHL power play with his willing to be physical and not shy away from anything.
Crazy time for Weiss to get his first of the playoffs.
Yes it was. As expected the building absolutely exploded both when he scored and when it was confirmed.

This game was every ounce of what I expected it to be. Now to sit here for who knows how long to wait to get out of parking.

I'm torn. Obviously I want them to win the Cup, but I'd love for it to happen in Banditland.
This. I want them to win it at home, so I can be there. I’ve been in the building when they’ve won two of their previous championships and would love to be present for a 3rd. On the other hand I also don’t want the stress of a winner takes all game for the championship either so I want them to win it next year.

That all being said if it does come down to us having game 3 here, I’m confident in our team. I’m also confident that Banditland will be insanely loud and will stay loud and up Colorado’s proverbial ass and make it insanely hard on them.

Few teams in any sport have had an identity like the Bandits have since their inception. There is an expectation for how they will play and I for one am (still) here for it.

I can't imagine being a lax goalie. I know your son is/was, but it just looks insane. I did it very, very briefly in a high school gym class where we didn't have any protective equipment. When one of the varsity players ripped it by my head and into the net, I vacated the goal for the rest of my life. Ice hockey? Sure. Lacrosse? Absolutely not.

There are huge differences between box lacrosse and field lacrosse.

And yeah, field lacrosse goalies are built different. Honestly, I would like to find an old man field lacrosse league to play goal in to see things from my son's POV.

Gym class lacrosse with half of the varsity team on the other side was enough for me lol
