Here in Canada they’re not really allowed to campaign until 90-120 days before an election (and an election can be after 4 or 5 years). Of course our political parties get around that by demanding that people step down in between those election cycles, so technically they’re not violating any laws.

Citizens United is the dumbest decision ever made by SCOTUS.

It’s hard to crown a single winner in that regard. There are some real doozies out there. Dred Scott, Korematsu, Lochner, Plessy v Ferguson…
