OT Thread XVI: Inglorious HFBasterds

i hadn't slept due to my myriads of exams. SFU is on top of a mountain and it takes me an hour to get there via transit and the school is basically a massive cement fortress and during winter, it's really not the best spot to be at in terms of mood and just... pleasure. I haven't gone to classes since the 1st day and I had a lot of catching up to do after wasting my weekend last weekend hanging out with a few cats.

I ate a box of sushi and was laying in bed while watching the game so I just faded :laugh: I remember hearing Sam yell "HE SCORED!" and somehow just knew that it was Nash that scored because Sam doesn't get that excited usually.

so I went out for my birthday sat, and I consider myself a decent poker player. I dont play with friends often as I win with them more than not, and dont want to change our halo-night relationship.
Anyhow I digress, I went out for my birthday and I didnt want to play but my friends started, and one guy had like 5 $ left (out of 100) and told (threw chips at me watching NHL live) me to play. He proceed to pass out, and I took his 5$ and ended up winning the game (of eight people). I have never played defensive poker before (I play Phils top 10 hands primarily when I play), but I was only playing top 1-5 hands or so. By the end of the game, when all I flipped was awesome cards throughout nobody could call- I barely needed to play, I was hitting cards left and right.

I took a break from poker (a long break), but I think Ill return to the table.

I **** you guys not, just wroste this to my professor. The worst ****ing eessay i ever wrote, a ****show:
Dear Professor ,

I deeply apologize for the quality of my paper. I really struggled with it. It was one of the most strenuous things I ever had to do. I am really sorry for being so indolent. I have been having lots of stress from various sources which heightens the level of my laziness. I don’t have an excuse, really, but I hope I can stop my tendency to neglect work like this and try to make it up. You can expect better and more appropriate work from me in the future. I have learned from this experience and understand that a certain level of refrain and professionalism is expected of me.

I recognize your dedication to education and your commitment to instill in me the knowledge I need to succeed. I hope our relationship is undamaged from my actions and that I can continue to learn and grow under your guidance.

haha, he makes fun of me for being a drunk. kind of a chill huy.
the ****ing papre was about feminism and women and ****. **** it. i disagreed with eveytihng.

haha poker can be fun. only if you win though. other than that, I'm usually throwing something. I turned 75 dollars into 800 at Atlantic City then pissed it all away in 20 minutes. I was perturbed to say the least.

Forgive me for saying this but you sound like the poker equivalent of a Rangers bandwagoner during the playoffs that doesn't know who Ryan Callahan is but flames Stu Bickel when he's playing 3 minutes a game :laugh:

probably Leafs. The biggest franchise and have been in the most serious need for banding together and helping each other through tough times.
 
Out of everyone who listed "Rangers" as their favorite team--or one of their favorite teams--and not including mods, there are 32 sponsors.

Time to check the Leafs.

You can add Zenith and I to that.

Also, this board is 5th in posts amongst teams.
 
Out of everyone who listed "Leafs" in their favorite teams and excluding mods, they have 13. I'm going to go out on a limb and say we have the most.
