Solid song. Doors are pretty good.

Question: Led Zeppelin or The Doors?

Difficult. But gotta go with The Doors. Maybe my username gives the answer away, but despite their short career they're one of the greatest rock-bands of all time.

Another extremely good live performance. This time by Sam & Dave. Watch all of it, I promise it'll be worth your time.

I'm enjoying these links way more than that phase of dance music we had in the last thread. When it comes to soul, this may be the single most incredibly well sung song I have ever heard.

One of my all-time favorites. So many memories with that song. Sam Cooke, truly amazing.

Has to be Zeppelin.

The Doors are great, but Zeppelin is on another level from most bands. Zep features some of the best to ever play instruments. Jon Bonham is one of the greatest drummers of all time, and same goes for Plant and Paige.

Can't go wrong with either though.

I have way more Zeppelin songs on my iPod but I enjoy my Doors collection much more if that makes any sense.

Really helps when you consider "Touch Me" to be your favorite song ever.

John Bonham! Fantastic drummer.

But you can't go wrong with Ginger Baker of Cream either. I think I consider him to be the greatest rock-drummer of all time.

With regards to favorite song, it's probably something by Iron Maiden.

Where Eagles Dare is a strong contender:

Oh my God, Moby Dick is so ****ing bad ass. I love that song. When it comes to Zeppelin, I'd probably have to go with Kashmir or The Ocean has my favorite song.

One of the hardest things I have ever tried to do is compile a list of my favorite songs. Its tedious and you end up feeling guilty haha.

Yep. When I realized that I started listing favorite albums, then when i realized that was also hard I just did favorite bands...which is arguably even more difficult.

I love music too much to list "favorites."

I find songs to be easiest of the three (which isn't saying much). It took forever, but Touch Me may have finally conquered Warren Zevon's Werewolves of London for me.
