OT: OT Thread Part V: Anything Can Happen

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Had a nice trip over the Easter Holidays, for about 10 days. First flew into Brussels (what an ugly, yet awesome city), staying there for 5 days and having day trips to Bruges and Gent (perhaps the two most beautiful cities I've ever been to, along with Seville and Granada). Lots of Belgian beer, lots of medieval history and lots of van Eyck, Bosch, van der Weyden and the like.

Then took the Eurostar (a train that goes at 200 mph is pretty, well ... fast) to London, where we stayed at a friends place. Even more beer (I love those English pubs), some more museums, and a football game (Spurs vs Fulham, 3 - 1 for my Spurs; what a brilliant performance by their goalkeeper, Lloris).
Finally took the Eurostar back to Brussels for one last bottle Rochefort 10° a.k.a. THE **** and some of those delicious Belgian fries, then taking the flight back home later that day. Eventually arrived back in Austria at 1 am local time yesterday.

If anyone has any interest in conversation ecology, I highly recommend 'The Long Emergency' by James Howard Kunstler. Unbiased review of our current society based on cheap oil and the possible outcomes for the future to come.

Not much going on, just playing some puck while scraping by in school and having as much fun as I can before I have to enter the real world full time :dunce:
