Does anyone here have experience with high end gaming laptops? I was interested in getting one, but I don't know a lot about them.

Go for the desktop. It just isn't worth the extra money for the laptop version (and the specs may not be as good).

It was hailing here in Brooklyn last night, felt like ice daggers, and very cold. Then at 10PM a HUGE fireworks show started in the bay around the statue of Liberty. Yeah Queens was weird, first rain, then hail, windows got all foggy/cold, then this morning there was snow on lawns and ice covering cars. I thought we were through this ********.

I was thinking about relocation before this weather but now this is really pushing it.

I personally love it. Extreme weather shakes things up. I lived in California for 3 years. It was gorgeous and sunny most of that time, which was nice, but I need seasons to change, guess I'm just an east coaster to the bone

But those Macy's like fireworks at 10pm on a Tuesday in a hail storm, that was just cuckoo bananas

This! If the weather hits 80 it should stay above 60 minimum after that... The fact I had shorts on and hiking on Monday and snow on Tuesday is no good IMO

Those were fireworks, not thunder (or the wrathful celebration of the IRS) you heard Tuesday night, April 15 over New York City and Brooklyn.

The brief fireworks were set off over Ellis Island around 9:45 PM as an anniversary celebration by Amway China.

I took a look, although information was harder to find. It seems like it's really good, great display but lacking the power of some of the higher end 2k cost laptops. Maybe I'm missing something though.

If there's a particular one you're interested in, I'd love to take a look at it.
