Love Testament.

CST24? SE Model? What're we talking about here. McCarty? Birds? I love PRS.

I'm a bass player myself. Warwick Corvette 5 is my main one. I also have two of the neck through Schecters that are totally underrated (one of them is Fretless). Got a Jackson Dinky that I swapped Duncans into as an electric and a relatively cheap Yamaha classical.

It's a CST. I also have an old Ibanez hollow body that's from '74 or so that has really sweet tone. I play a little bass as well, but I only own a cheap one for tooling around on. My bro and I wanted to try to get some heavy drum and bass grooves going. But I played a lot more in high school/college. Between jobs, watching hockey (most years), the girlfriend, etc. I have to choose my hobbies and I choose to still play a lot of ice hockey and enjoy the occasional video game so I don't play that much guitar any more. I'll get around to it, it's just calling me yet.

A little bit. My favorite album is The Gathering. I liked their debut album too. Over the Wall is amazing.

I like all of their older stuff too, but I prefer listening to First Strike is Still Deadly for it. They got most of the best songs, the production isn't crap, and Chuck's voice is mature. The Gathering is great, although I prefer Low for the post-Skolnick albums.

Yeah, I haven't played as much recently either so I know what you mean. Most of my musical focus has gone into writing and sequencing. I write some electronic stuff that would sound good as soundtracks for video games and I write some classical music as well. But I haven't even focused on that stuff in a few months. Too much school going on.

I love pretty much all of their stuff. I saw Testament twice in concert, it was great. I got to see Skolnick play as wel as Peterson and Bostaph which I was stoked about. Chuck is a legend in my opinion, He's full of life at concerts and always loves/appreciates the fans.

I had the exact same debate today at my hockey pool.

I ended up with 6th to go out of 9 people.

1. Karlsson
2. Nash (Homer)
3. Fleury (Henrik, Quick, Rinne were taken)
4. Letang (****ed up on my D last year so I'm going with bigger names this year)
5. Gaborik (Homer)
6. Suter
7. Kovalchuk (who was not picked until now, the 60th overall or something because of his KHL/NHL things but I have a free swap insurance so even if somehow KHL goes back on their word and keep Kovalchuk there, I can swap out.
8. Hartnell
9. Jeff Carter
10. Callahan
11. Varlamov

3 Rangers (ties last year), 1 Senator, 2 Penguins, 1 Flyer, 1 King, 1 Av, 1 Devil, 1 Wild,

Yeah defense you wanna go with bigger names on D, or at least more dynamic guys, cause it's all numbers back there. I drafted Marc Staal my first time playing :shakehead

Last year, I had Burns, Visnovsky and MA Bergeron and all three of them were drop dead useless.

Someone kindly refresh my memory.

I recall the Penguins defense being mediocre as a whole. I also recall the unit getting worse since the end of last season as they lost Orpik.

Edit- Orpik is still a Penguin? Thought he went to Anaheim. It's clearly been a long off season.

What's the deal?

Their defense is mediocre. Not sure where the notion that it comes close to ours comes from.

Letang is great. Orpik is very good, but he's clearly lost a step. Martin is a disappointment. They traded Michalek, who was probably their 2nd best d-man, to Phoenix. Niskanen is a pretty good middle pairing guy who can move the puck. Engelland is a good enough bottom pair whose tough as nails. Despres is a rookie.

Great avatar.

Anyone seem the new Carl's Jr. commercial? It has a song that sounded awesome.

My brother shazamed it and found out it was Death Angel's "The Ultra Violence".

I'm looking to sign up for an inline roller league in Morristown.

I'd like to do that for my PE requirement for college instead of body sculpting. :p
