Confirmed drunk.

Posting hockey content in the OT Thread

Krusovice. From the Czech Republic. First tried it in Prague many years ago. You can find it in some spots throughout NYC but they don't sell it everywhere. There's this spot I go to in Port Chester that has it. Real delicious beer. And I'm not much of a drinker, either.

In my next class which starts at 11, we're going to get broken up into groups because making a computer game called "Whack-a-Prof" which is just like Whack-a-Mole, except a professor pops up and we hit him with a ruler, and if a dean pops up, we hit him with a sledgehammer. Nervous. I suck with Java's JFrame and all that GUI ****.

In learning OpenGL programming right now. Visual C++. It's tough.

That sounds... quite terrible actually. Good thing I chose an easy major in college like finance.

I've been looking at requirements/recommended skills for internships just so I know I'll be prepared eventually and a lot of them mentioned OpenGL.

I once majored in accounting and once I took a cost accounting class, I bailed for computer science and it's been incredibly fun.

I started as accounting as well. I realized that if I had to do this for the rest of my live I would die of a heart attack or suicide before I hit 30. Changed to Finance after and loved it. Just goes to show ya... different folks, different strokes.

Computer science is a love-hate thing. When you cant get something to work you want to punch a hole through your screen. But when you finally figure out something, it's an awesome feeling.

For real. I added a five-point system to my website in my signature and it didn't work and I was pissed. I stared at the code for like 15 minutes and I noticed my mistake was forgetting a ****ing comma of all things.

I agree. I'm a finance major and I despise accounting. It's part of my core curriculum, and I wanna smash in a wall doing the homework for this god damn class.

Is everyone here a technical guy? I know Jon is a lawyer but no businessmen, teachers, or investors?

I often wonder how many programing related suicides happen per year because of **** like that

hexadecimal math WOAT

Next semester I get to take assembly programming with a Motorola processor. Should be interesting to say the least.

Still to this day my favorite CS class Was System Programming. Writing our own C libraries, like printing out strings, integers, etc. Without using printf except in printing a char. We had to do a slingly linked list, make our own mini terminal, make a client-server chat program using sockets... It was cool.

I guess you could call me that  I work as an account exec. for our Rehab. company in Bristol and now am general manager of our recently acquired home health company... and I am only 25. I do not have much of a life.

I am no tech guy, although there does seem to be a lot of them around here though.

I was always under the impression that Jabroni was a teacher. I'm starting to think I may have shot high and wide with that assumption.

There seems to be more and more accountants popping up in here.

And none of you even offered to do my taxes... :shakehead
