In my next class which starts at 11, we're going to get broken up into groups because making a computer game called "Whack-a-Prof" which is just like Whack-a-Mole, except a professor pops up and we hit him with a ruler, and if a dean pops up, we hit him with a sledgehammer. Nervous. I suck with Java's JFrame and all that GUI ****.

In learning OpenGL programming right now. Visual C++. It's tough.
That sounds... quite terrible actually. Good thing I chose an easy major in college like finance.
I've been looking at requirements/recommended skills for internships just so I know I'll be prepared eventually and a lot of them mentioned OpenGL.
I once majored in accounting and once I took a cost accounting class, I bailed for computer science and it's been incredibly fun.

Computer science is a love-hate thing. When you cant get something to work you want to punch a hole through your screen. But when you finally figure out something, it's an awesome feeling.
I started as accounting as well. I realized that if I had to do this for the rest of my live I would die of a heart attack or suicide before I hit 30. Changed to Finance after and loved it. Just goes to show ya... different folks, different strokes.
For real. I added a five-point system to my website in my signature and it didn't work and I was pissed. I stared at the code for like 15 minutes and I noticed my mistake was forgetting a ****ing comma of all things.![]()
Is everyone here a technical guy? I know Jon is a lawyer but no businessmen, teachers, or investors?
