Haha, I work for an energy company currently. They have lucrative environmental positions. Plus, just having a B.S. can get you opportunities these days. Doesn't really matter what it is in.

If I wanted to go in to that field specifically though, yes, I wouldn't make a lot of money unless I became a college professor.

I'm a former biology major that switched to environmental sciences. I don't understand why it's an arts degree when you take almost as many difficult science classes as a biology major.

CAS. I'll be a commuter too.

Nice. Had to/will continue having to take a lot of classes at CAS. All good stuff. Not sure if you're doing it out of convenience or financial reasons, but do not commute unless you have to. It's manageable but it doesn't make things any easier.
