That's the issue. The first handful of episodes are slow. Keep watching.

I didn't watch an episode of Breaking Bad until it was in it's 5th season. My friends kept talking about it and i was like okay..let me give this a watch.

I too, watched the first season and was like, this is the best show on TV? What. The difference was i didn't cave and continued into season 2 and my exact reaction to most episodes was "Holy ****.....b**ch"

I had about 2 weeks to finish watching the entire series before the finale aired, which i did, and it was AMAZING.
