It's funny how the argument about drinking is all or nothing. People either think you are Teddy Roosevelt or Keith Richards. Nothing in between.

Not really. I just recognized that he has a highly demanding major which takes a lot of study. It is not like he is taking Liberal Studies as a major, he's Pre-Med. There is a huge difference between how competitive it is compared to other majors. In order to get into a good med school you not only need to score highly on the MCAT, but you also need top grades as an undergrad - that takes a lot of time hitting the books. The amount of classes like O-chem, Physics, Physiology, Genetics, etc, are enough to make you want to drink. I also never said that he shouldn't just saw that he doesn't have a party type major.

Edit: And there is a certain personality type that tend to be Doctors, and I was not surprised to hear that Jeff was not a social person. A lot of Doctors are very focused on their goals and don't have time for shenanigans. It is a pretty serious profession.

My comment wasn't about your reply. It was more of a broad brush view of society. Also that Face Wash only drinks Lucky Lager

and while bowling at Lucky Strikes & smoking Lucky Strike. If there was a Lucky brand of heroine I'd shoot that that up too.

If Keith Richards can outlive David Bowie, he'll outlive Mittens & Me too.

I can't wait for his infomercial. "Keith Richards Guide to Longevity" for only three easy payments of 19.95.

Chapter 1: Alcohol
Chapter 2: Cigarettes
Chapter 3: Marijuana
Chapter 4: Pills
Chapter 5: Heroin
Chapter 6: Cocaine
Chapter 7: "The Speedball"
Chapter 8: All of the Above

Face Wash doesn't smoke Lucky Strikes. He smokes king sized Kents!

You know you've got a problem when Guns N' Roses be like "Sorry bro, you're kicked out of the band for being to much of a *******"

Seriously. One of the craziest, wildest, and biggest drug and alcohol abusing bands couldn't take it any more. Just like Mustaine and Metallica.

Post G N' R Lies they waited over two years for him to clean up (which never happened). Matt Sorum is an incredible drummer though. Sorum's work on Use Your Illusion (my favorite Guns N' Roses album) was spectacular. It really set a different tone for the entire band.

Steven Adler is a really cool dude though. I've heard him on some recent interviews and he appears to be completely clean (hopefully for his sake). What's even more amazing is after all the **** he did to kill himself (and paralyzed half his face), he can still ****ing play (the main reason I believe him when he says he's clean). Saw some footage of him and his band performing in late 2014 and he killed it.

I'm betting he'll be part of the reunion along with Izzy.

I'm fine. Most of my friends are premeds anyways so when we hang out, it's a book club and we all study biology and chemistry. I party maybe once or twice a year, don't really enjoy it too much because I'm not a really social person.

Ditto.

A couple of mine are too. Not sure if USA/Can have a lot of different pre-req, but a big component of ours is physics. Hated looking over that information when it came to the exam. Don't slack on that area! Biochem is amazing in comparison <3

Physics is the worst, barely got an A last quarter and I was expecting to get a B. Hardest I have ever worked. First exam average for the class: 50%.

You're right. It's usually the hardest series of classes for premeds.

I liked the relief I got when my transcript showed an A instead of a B-. So depressing getting like 60s and 70s on exams.

After my first week of Physics I looked at the text book and said, "This ***** ain't beating me." Then the smackdown began.

Organic Chemistry was the premed buster when I was in school. It was graded on a curve where 50% was the average as well. Got A- in both halves of the course. Busted my ass for those grades.
