What sort of school bases immediate medical decisions on an email system? Wtf?

That said, how much you want to bet the kid got suspended out of his rep, since the article says he's been suspended before and even his own mom didn't want to hear what he had to say because he's been suspended so much.

Your rep follows you and dictates how people perceive your actions. The school was wrong here but I bet they don't suspend a student who shuts his mouth in class and is respectful in the same situation.

It happened in Texas so not very surprising. As far as punishing the kid goes, well, they ought to have punished the kid and his mom to some extracurricular English classes.
