NFL reportedly makes combine ban compromise for violent offender that doesn't address root of problem
In this case, player allowed to interview with teams and go through medical evals, but cannot participate in on field activities.

Teams have been willing to sign guys with violent records, even without combine participation. It does give players opportunities to explain their situation.
Yet another reason for me to distance myself from being football fan.
