Anyone else notice that audio on the road, though sketchy, is better than at home?
Different tonight but they screwed up with echo for a bit.
tonight is brutal..stopped watching because of it
You could hear them playing around with the levels which I find a good thing. Means someone is trying to get it right.
I doubt that highly.
Hard to believe that professional sound engineers can't get this right. I wonder what the problem is? Equipment?
Hard to believe it's the operators that aren't up to speed.
Oh I can. Who knows what same goobers they have been employing all these years and that the technology has passed them.
Most people that are into technology crave the latest and greatest, you see it on AVS forums and HD forums and many computer geek sites. Unbelievable that NESN wouldn't at least ensure the operators were trained before rollout. Something's wrong.
Do you guys/gals find the audio that bad? Are you talking about home theater setup or the sound in general? i don't have a home theater set up and I don't mind the sound. I mean, it's not the greatest but I have hear much, much worse. Aside from technical glitches every now and then I'm content.
Agreed. I have a home theater and have spent a lot of time in AVS Forums and it is shameful that this is the quality they have.

ok......?
The on ice sound is terrible, its like watching the game in an isolation booth. I want to hear the puck hit sticks and bodies crashing into broads, the "f#cks" and "$hits" from the players. When I can I'll switch to NBC for the better sound quality. I like listening to Jack and Brick but not enough to sacrifice audio, NESN needs to step it up.
The same usual of suckness tonight
