OT: Mods--These new Ads are killing my browser

To the mods on this board, can you pass along this to the site managers. These new drop down ads are just wrecking my browser causing it to either crash or cause the fans to run at max speed. It happen on every page as soon as the page loads.

Have you ever seen the site owner post? Or any post from an Admin, or really anything other then a mod?

This site is basically run by skynet. **** you here's ads.

Its 2015 though and you have choices... I don't even get ads on my mobile devices. Site owners get to choose how aggressive they are with ads and users get to chose how aggressive they are with blocking them. On chrome and firefox ******* plus works amazing, you would never even know there were ads.

The only legit answer to this is "I'm on a work computer"

Those two run off flashdrives and should support ad ons. At my old job i just downloaded chrome portable onto a folder on the desktop, where you usually have write privileges.

I can't stand Safari. I prefer Chrome. It's a RAM hog, but I've had no slowdowns. Running a MacBook Pro Retina.

I've never found chrome to be too much worse then others on RAM... From all I have seen it will use whats available but does not really need it. Free ram is wasted ram, and most of its not really free anyways, its just reported as such so you don't freak out (see vista and how it reported ram).
