Not all that surprising, he was already figuring a lot less into the strategies last season. It feels like they've been fazing him out. He's talented, but I can't say I'll miss him all that much, he's way too soft to have success in the MLS IMO. It's not a finesse league and finesse is the best thing he has to offer.

I feel he has good chemistry with Clark. They find each other easily on the field and it has made us look better. If we could get a true #10, that would be nice but we won't get that in a trade.

Duke would probably be the last guy to send away after Opoku and Iankov

I ninja edited my post. It's not a casting couch

Synchuk is going to replace Duke. And I think Opoku needs ice time too.

Also, we need a high end CB.

Opoku needs to be jettisoned to the same place Coccaro went. I don't think he's ever fit in here nor do I see that happening.

My guess is the high end CB is already here in Neale but who knows with his injury status.

Didn't they also also mention they might go looking for a 10 in the summer window?

I agree with the others on Duke. Just too small, slow, and weak to compete in the league on a regular basis right now. He has the skill. It's the physical components that are lacking.

Precisely, Opoku needs ice time to up his value and get jettisoned.

At this stage, I'd be more comfortable giving him ice time with the Habs than time on the field with CFMTL.

I get what you're saying, but it almost never works out that way. Unfortunately, he's always had a negative influence on the play of the team by not fitting the formation.

Time to cut him loose along with Ibrahim.

No Piette (yay) or Campbell (boo. my opinion of him is changing for now but we'll see). Picked up little injuries but no concern for medium or long term injuries.

Vrioni and Neale sort of joined the main group yesterday but still haven't gotten the green light for full involvement. This is concerning to me.

Synchuk looking good and speaks English pretty well. Might make the trip to Minny. Either way, if it's not tomorrow, I can see him getting some late game minutes pretty soon.

Pearce was injured for 10 days. Who knew. Well, the team did, but nobody else apparently, which explains why he wasn't starting.

They're considering using Waterman as a 6 like they did last year, which makes no sense considering we're also missing Campbell and would then rely on Petrasso and Jabang as starters to go with Alvarez?

Caden Clarke should be starting tomorrow and as mid, not a LWB.

Waterman isn't mobile enough to be a 6 IMO. He can do it here and there if we absolutely have to, but I'd actually rather see Jabang there in an emergency situation.
