Credit where credit is due, they showed up in the second half. If only they were allowed to show up for the first half......

Owosu - As advertised in a positive way
Opoku - As advertised in a negative way
Herbers - He's not the type of player that's going to stir the drink, which is what he was asked to do in the first half, so unsurprisingly, he couldn't do something he's not otherwise good at.
Clarke - No reason whatsoever for him to start as a LWB. None. Unsurprisingly, when he was put in a position he's good at, he was good at it.
Saliba - When he plays low, in front of beside Piette, he's really, really bad. When he plays higher up, which happens in the 2nd half, he's much better.
Duke - He was exactly what we expected.
Campbell - Better than I thought he'd be.
JMR - He's not a RWB - End of story. He looks both invisible and visible but both in bad ways.
Sirois - When is Gazdov coming? Honestly, he's not that great. Yes, he can make some unbelievable saves at times. But the brain farts that he has just time and time again kills us. He also sucks when it comes to having the ball at his feet.
Pearce - I don't know why he doesn't start. I really don't.
Ibrahim - As advertised in a negative way. Just can never get it done.
Piette - I'm still sad he's not being shipped to the CPL where he belongs.
Petrasso - Thought he was fine.

Hard fought game...

Some sus personnel usage by the coach in the first half, and some good adjustments in the second.

I still don't see what Marshall Rutty brings on the right side. He can't center the ball and he's not incisive in the last third. The right side is weak. I think Bugaj deserves a shot, at least.

Sirois is sus. He started off good in MLS, but he's been accumulating the blunders with his indecision.

Owusu was awesome. Pearce does what he does.

Herbers was quiet and couldn't connect with his teammates, but then again, what is he doing on the front line?

From his stats, don't know if Gazdov will be that much better with the ball at his feet:

Finally got around to watching the opener. I actually liked quite a lot of what I saw, we should have walked away with at least a point IMO, especially after the second half adjustments. There's something decent to work with here, if properly managed.

They deserved more.

Atlanta's defending was suspect, I feel like the game was there for the taking...

Like you said, there's something to work on here.

When they attack through the middle, they often expose themselves to terrible turnovers, but Owusu's hold up game is interesting and it can definitely be something the can build upon. They need to diversify their attack.
