From all I've read about what was said at the presser, Gervais genuinely thinks the roster they've built is good enough to compete right now, which is just.... I mean, I know he wasn't going to throw his bosses under the bus, but I would have liked at least a token acknowledgement that the team still needs a lot of work.

They need to reassess the guys they brought last season. They've paid or paying them a lot without playing. I don't think it's normal that we're mostly playing supplemental spots players rather than senior ones
