Why? Whats stopping him from taking a perment spot with the Bruins? He always gets send back to AHL.
Competition. The Bruins really believe in internal competition for spots. I think they expected him to take a spot when they signed him to a one-way contract, but he was beat out by Lauko and he continues to have to battle against Lauko, Brown and Heinen (although I see him as more of a mddile6 spare).

Hopefully he keeps playing well and shows the league he's an NHL player. If the B's can't afford to keep him he can always get claimed.

Cleared waivers. Sent down. Only guy in the league with 30+ games and only 1 point. Yikes. Might be it for ol' Oskar.

Best of luck to Oskar. Seemed like a good kid

He seems to have taken this to heart.
10 goals and 5 assists in 11 games in the SHL (fourth player of the 21st century to reach 10 goals in 11 games or less, joining Carl Söderberg who did it in 8 in 2012, the season he finally came over).

Always intriguing when borderline fourth liners go and tear it up offensively in other leagues (especially since the SHL is a very defensive-minded one). Always makes you wonder what they could have done with more/better minutes and easier matchups in the NHL. Then again, he didn't show enough offensive prowess in the minutes he did get, and didn't tear it up in the AHL either.
