Oshawa Generals 2024 25 Season Thread Part Ii

I belive what will ultimatly be the difference maker in this series is the untested road the Knights have had to the final. Not being challenged vs Attack and Otters than facing the Rangers that were tired coming back from 3-0 down.

Where Oshawa has had tough battles vs Brampton and Brantford and Barrie

True. I really don't think the west was as strong as other years to be honest. Rangers rode to 100 points on the back of a great goalie and and excellent coaching. No real stand out stars at the top of the stats. Windsor was the highest scoring team with quite a few young players. They were the highest scoring team in the league I believe. They struggled with the Knights also. Oshawa looked the most solid team in the east during the regular season. This series will come down to goal tending and specialty teams.

I believe Brantford, Barrie, Kingston, Oshawa, and Brampton were playing playoff hockey for seeding since February where the top 3 was pretty well decided in the west for most of the season.

Actually Windsor was the 3rd highest scoring team in the league with 309 goals re the regular season,London 1st with 325,Saginaw 2nd with 324.
As for having troubles with London,Windsor went 3-3 against them during the regular season, went 0-3 on the road with them but 3-0 at home, should note last game at London the final game of the regular Windsor played without Greentree, Protas,Belchetz, Outwater,Lemieux, Costanzo, Woodall,Christoforo, Mathurin lost 6-2,though game was tied 2-2 halfway through when Windsor changed goalies .London had most of their good players dressed that night.
Should also note Elliot London's goalie went 35-1 during regular season and Windsor only team that beat him.

Is their any1 out of the lineup We might see in the series
Not unless there is an injury. O'Toole is out for the year. Figliomeni, Svozil, Blaseg and Sabourin are all healthy scratches. Unlikely to see any.

Much better 1st period today than Thursday. Oshawa playing with a bit more confidence and don't look like they are chasing the game like they did Thursday

Craig Button passionately said it best about London at intermission."If you're gonna keep taking dumb penalty, after dumb penalty, after dumb penalty, after dumb penalty, you're not going to the Memorial Cup"

Oshawa needs to just stay patient and let London undo themselves.

That was quite the dive by Cowan and then knights fans going crazy wanting the call lol

1st lame call of the game imo. Hooking in Sennecke with 4:05 left in the second.

Bad puck handling from Sinivuori leaving a 2 on 1 and it's 4-2. I hate those period goals, they are real ball busters. Oshawa needs another perfect 3rd period.

Senneke is snake bitten too.
Sennecke needs to break out. He's not playing like a 3rd overall right now.

Also why I think it's all but guranteed he's back in the O next year after spending a few games with Anaheim.

Oshawa gets one back as griffin gets away with drawing s hooking call while holding the stick. Lame calls are split 1-1 tonight so far.
