Oshawa Generals 2024 25 Season Thread Part Ii

Sennecke remains out for game 6.

O'Toole dresses in his absence
Expect Brampton to win tonight then. Home crowd, no sennecke.

Will be interesting if sennecke is back for game 7. If its game 7 at home (best home record in east) with how sennecke has been playing I highly doubt you lose.

No team should rely on 1 player, if they do, the deserve to lose.

Brampton is without Ivankovic, Sova and MacDonnell.

Players get hurt in playoffs, the others need to step up in their absence.

Didn’t know that about Brampton. That’s horrible for them

Was just thinking of the OHL finals last year without sennecke. He was a very important piece to the puzzle.

"home crowd"
lol I agree. Couldn’t be more wrong with this prediction. However didn’t know Ivankovic, McDonnell and Sova would be out. Was funny I checked their attendance last game they played and 4300 people. That’s pretty crazy they had 4300 family members there! And 4600 today

Great job Owen griffin! Draft stock rising very fast. Has a lot of potential as I’ve said before 12pts in 6 games.

Can’t say enough about Griffin. He was phenomenal in last years playoffs in a bottom 6 role. Looks even better this year. Refused to waive his NTC and then puts up 12 pts this round. He’s going to be a lone bright spot on this team for a few seasons

Not waiving NTC stopped Gens from making a huge mistake. Hes already more valuable than Gibson

Game 6 was Oshawa’s most dominant performance of the series. I certainly didn’t expect them to sweep all three games on the road - - but I also didn’t expect them to lose 2 out of 3 at home.

This was a very fitting game for Brampton - - an extremely disappointing game to end their extremely disappointing season.

I’m so glad Oshawa didn’t waste their time and resources bringing in the laughably overrated Konnor Smith. Terrible skater, not overly physical and constantly turning the puck over in his own zone.

Very concerning to hear about Beckett Sennecke. I’m not sure if he’s going to be ready to start the next series or not. Fortunately the rest of the team was able to step up in his absence, with Owen Griffin leading the way. Prior to the playoffs, I projected Griffin as a 4th round pick or at worst a 5th round pick. But after this series, it would not surprise me at all if Griffin is gone in the 3rd round.

ROUND TWO Schedule:

Thursday 10th, 7pm Brantford
Sunday 13th, 2pm Brantford
Tuesday 15th, 7:05pm Oshawa
Thursday 17th, 7:05pm Oshawa
Saturday 19th, 7pm Brantford*
Sunday 20th, 6:05pm Oshawa*
Tuesday 22nd, 7pm Brantford*

Oshawa Generals select Forward Sam Roberts of the Toronto Jr. Canadiens. 6'1 177lbs. 37 pts in 33 games. Son of Hockey Legend Gary Roberts.
