Bedkowski and Ritchie have been in skirmishes since the game started, culminating with a wrestling match at the end of the 2nd period.

Inexcusable to have one of the best players in the league getting manhandled like that.

This is what happens when there’s ZERO toughness on the team to step up and address these issues.
I’m sure Owen sound will take that trade off any day of the week lol.

What a skill gap between those 2 goalies holy crap. Gens better be on their A game
No kidding. I can't figure out Gravelle still. Now 4-0-0 but another game where every chance went in for 2 periods and then he plays really well in the 3rd to win the game.

Clearly Bedkowski didn't handle the trade well because man did he play out of control tonight. Was obsessed with going after Ritchie too. Then the game ends with Bedkowski trying to walk the line for a last shot and Ritchie knocking it off his stick. Felt bad for Bedkowski there. Gens bench sure let him hear it after all the running around/chirping he did all game.

Thought for sure tonight was a prime spot for getting "goalie'd" with this being a huge motivation game for a young OS team who doesn't have much else to play for this year but the odd emotional game like this, and of course George can steal any game. But Gens did a good job not getting frustrated and outplayed them thoroughly for the 2 points.

Big one tomorrow night as a 5/6 point weekend would be huge

Literally yesterday you were saying O'Toole serves no purpose on this team. This is what happens when O'Toole is out of the lineup lol.

Don’t you know? He’s the best GM to never be in the league. Let’s have a top 6 be tough and fight and be off the ice all the time. Let’s realize those days are gone. Does this team need a little more grit and toughness? Yes. But let’s let Hunt figure this out. Has he not done this year after year?

People seem to forget that they still have 2 months to add pieces and make moves. This roster may have up to 3 new faces on it come mid January. Armchair GMs have no patience.

He also never says what to move, just that they need to get better players and says certain guys suck. It's not a horrible strategy, you can't be wrong because you're literally not saying anything of substance. Also, does he know D'Amato still plays on the team? Used to be in every post from him and now he hasn't said a word about him in months. I wonder why that is........

7 total assists, after Donnie whined all off season about how the Gens could NOT move on from D’Amato in a contending season. Brutal. I can get better analysis out of Joke Marek

I think my favourite thing from the game last night was how good Rogowski looked. Owen Sound has a lot of good young players but Rogowski was the best 16/17 year old on the ice. He had a couple shifts last night where he flew down the ice with the puck and used his long reach making the Dman have no chance to get it off him, which we used to see Serron Noel do a lot.

Fraser been injured and hasn't played yet.
Do you know what the injury is? He took part in the skills comp and was skating/shooting fine. So wouldn’t think it was knee/shoulder related. So head or something that he isn’t cleared for contact but can do everything else?

You seriously think they if he isn’t recovering they aren’t gonna dress him last night when they are short 2 bodies from a full line up
Under normal circumstances I would 100% agree with you but there hasn't been an injury reported yet stating he is injured. He's generally just not a good player but I agree, you'd think he would've been a seat filler yesterday if healthy. I'd be curious to find out what the injury is if he indeed is injured

Danford and Svozil getting hurt gave PP QB Luca D'Amato a chance to finally shine with his 1st goal of the season(EN)!

Best OA on the team.

Oster has been solid all season but hasn't necessarily had that "ohhhh yeah that's the OHL goalie of the year" game. Well tonight was that. Gens lose Danford and Griffin in the first half of the game, putting them 3 guys down and Oster stole the show in that 2nd period especially.

Barlow found the back of the net in all 3 games this weekend (only gets credit for 2 because D'Amato was offside 45 seconds prior). He's looking more and more comfortable.

Hopefully Rogowski got a good look at Kieron Walton tonight. He's so good and that should be exactly who Rogowski is modelling his game after. Same frame and long stride. Rogowksi had his best weekend of the season I thought and looked noticeably more aggressive driving on offence. If he can become even close to the player Walton is, that'd be huge for the Gens down the road

What was with the video review of the high sticking? In the past, discussion has been around refs initially calling a 5 because you can review 5s. Can refs randomly review any uncalled 2?
