The Gagnier slapshot or the Sennecke hit at the end?
What hit to the head??? It was a charge no doubt but not to the head. They reviewed it and that's why it was only a 2 minute call. If you want to look at dirty go back 15 seconds in the Oshawa end when he's clipped by Serpa. You want to call dirty that was dirty. Hence he was pissed and went down the ice and charged the first guy he saw. Facts!!!

My guess is Ritchie is likely done for the year if that injury is what I think it is...

Not sure if it was his shoulder or his elbow ligament of some kind. It was the way he put his arm down think he pulled something in his elbow/arm. Unfortunate for him. As for Grainger that was ugly. I hope he will be ok that was quite the blow to the head.

Grainger was sitting in front of me in the 3rd period and I asked if he was ok and he stated he was. A little swelling and sitting out for precautionary reasons. Nice young man to speak to. I hope he is back soon.

Why are you so angry..?

I don't even know what play you're referring to because the Wolves broadcast team does such a poor job detailing what's happening in front of them. But what I did saw was Coughlan trying to do dirty shit the whole game and then after that hit Sennecke was bleeding from his face. To me that suggests hit to the head.. And that wasn't enough for him. Still had to spear the rookie after the final whistle, and then run from the said rookie lol. No wonder Guelph wanted him gone. With how good Mauro looked, I think Coughlan's days in the lineup might be numbered.

We will and then some.

You wont be “and then some” lol. You can’t even get to the top of the teams that sold. Don’t know how it’s even close. Sudbury should be easily top 5 in the conference this year with how good their offence and D-core should be on paper. Yet they’re not even sniffing it and only came into last night 2 points up on the Gens who sold their best F, best D and best G. Crazy

The Gens are in a complete rebuild after going all in for the season that ended up getting cancelled lol. You post on here a ton so surely you understand how Jr hockey works and some teams are older and should be good and some teams rebuild and are super young lol? Sudbury isn't a young team. They should be good this year. They're not.

The Gens are the 2nd youngest team in the league and completely sold off at the deadline. You should not be pounding your chest for beating that team lol. And btw, you're only 1-1 against the Gens since they completely sold off... Including you giving up 8 goals to said 2nd youngest team in the league. The only time you beat them post-sell off was when it was tied 1-1 and their 2 best players got hurt and didn't return. If that's what you're hanging your hat on for this season, you had an even worse season than I thought you did.

Beg to differ! Wolves are not an older team. In fact they are near the bottom in age as well. And you leave out the game we blew you out before the sell off. Wasn't you that was cheering the deal for D'Aico after dealing Moore saying he was the same player but younger.

And the Wolves had to start the rebuild as well when the season was cancelled the year we had Pekar, Byfield, Murray, Chenier, Phillips, Carson etc... get your facts straight.

And your commentary on twitter of last nights game was just comical. Not sure how you can be so biased. Could you not find one good thing to say about Sudbury. And the hate on for Coughlan I don't get. Oshawa has had players that played the same style. Your credibility is taking a hit cmon man you were doing so good for a bit.

FYI- Coughlan did not spear your rookie at the end of the game it was a little tap behind his leg. Like every player does when the ref isn't looking. Can you at least get the calls right. At least I can admit Coughlan took a charge at the first Oshawa player he saw after getting clipped by Serpa 10 seconds earlier in the opposite end of the ice. Man talk about drama!!!

Not to beat a dead horse, but I I just got a text from a Gens person "Wait until you see the line up today. Craziness!" and they were referring to Sennecke being out tonight with a head injury from this hit we were talking about. Marrelli, Gagnier and Ritchie also all got hurt last night and will join Torrance, Stewart, Parfenyuk, Ertel on the shelf. And with the storm, the Gens can't get any call-ups to the Soo lol. So tonight could be ugly with just 9 forwards and 5 D, 2 of which are call-ups who were already with the team on this trip luckily.

Maybe something like:
Rolofs-Roobroeck-Butler
McIntyre-Serpa-Buckley
Graham-Petrou-Gruber
no 4th line

D'Amato-Danford
Bedkowski-Rodriguez(callup)
O'Dell(callup)

I can't say that Sudbury has a menacing team this year. Last one I remember was in 2016-17 years with the Pilons, Yak, Pez, and few others. You could at least expect coming into the Madhouse on Minto and leaving with a few bruises physically and mentally. But for Oshawa to leave with 4 injuries to a pretty tame team can't be good. Butler, MacIntyre needed to show up physically but they wanted to be scorers last night from my viewpoint. Thing is they didn't score either. Coughlan, Yearwood, McCallum, Larmand, Toure did their jobs.

And once again Sennecke hit was reviewed and deemed 2 minutes. Therefore no head contact. He must of hit his head on the way down.

If there is any team I like to see have success that isn’t the Hounds, it’s the Generals. Good for you guys.

I can’t make Friday’s game. If someone out there would like my tickets (free!), PM me with your email address and I’ll get them transferred to you. You’ll need a TCC account to receive them.

l’ll update the post when they’re gone.

Cheers…
